Beginning in the renaissance town of Siena, this beautiful ride follows the route of the Via Francigena down which merchants and armies travelled, and also pilgrims on their way to the Holy Land.

Today the route is a mix of roads, tracks and paths. You’ll follow it’s course, though leaving the route to ride the fun singletrack trails as you pass by.

Your accommodations will be a mix of small hotels and farm stays; there’ll be ample time to discover the joys of the local food and drink, and also explore the rich history and culure of the area. And just when you think it’s all over, you’ll end your ride in St.Peter’s Square in the centre of Rome, ideally placed for a city stay to explore more of this great world city.

IS THIS TRIP SUITABLE FOR ME? This easy going ride is suitable for soeone with some basic mountain biking experience. Expect a mix of surfaces, from gravel to metalled road. You should have a reasonable level of fitness, since the days can be up to 8 hours in length including food breaks. Expect to ride for

Momentum Journeys Inc. cancellation policy is as follows:



Momentum Journeys very strongly recommends that you purchase travel insurance which will cover trip cancellation.



Momentum Journeys products are delivered by our third party providers. In the event that you need to cancel your booking, we guarantee to refund all money refunded to Momentum Journeys by the activity and accommodation providers. However, we have no control over third party providers refund policies, some of which do not provide refunds.



In the event that your cancellation is made less than 30 days before your trip Momentum Journeys will refund to you any money refunded to us, however we will retain a $100 handling charge.
